QHow many leagues do you have?
A4 leagues – Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer
QHow much is the team fee?
APlease refer to the player application.
QDo you register according to age or grade?
AWe register by grade, it is the grade you are going into in September of the coming year..
QWhat grades do you have?
ABoys, 3rd grade to Varsity – Girls, 3rd grade to Varsity.
QCan 2nd graders sign up for the league?
AOnly on the coaches recommendation.
QWhere do the teams play?
A• Fall League, Boys only, 7th grade to Varsity, games played at Farmingdale State.
• Winter League, Boys 3rd to 8th play at Farmingdale State- Girls 3rd to Varsity & Boys Junior Varsity play at Skate-Safe in Bethpage.
• Spring League, 7th & 8th grade middle school teams.
• Summer League, Boys -3rd grade to Junior Varsity, Girls – 3rd grade to Varsity.
QWhen do the teams play?
A• Fall, Spring and Summer Leagues – Sunday morning.
• Winter League, Saturday or Sunday (7:00 am to 7:00 pm. We do not play on Thanksgiving.
QHow many games does a team play?
A• Fall League – 7
• Winter league – 6 each session, there are 2 sessions. Teams will register separately for each session.
• Spring League – 7
• Summer League – 7
QAre there practices?
ANo.
QWhat rules do you play by?
ANational Federation, New York State Modified and P.A.L. Modified
QAre all officials certified?
AYes, we only use the top officials on Long Island
QDo you make up a game due to a cancellation?
AYes, we make sure that all teams play the number of games they signed up for. Exception. if a team forfeits that team will not get a make up, but the team that lost the game due to the forfeit will get a make up against another team.
QHow Long are the Games?
AAll games are 2 – 25 minute running halves.
QAre players insured?
AYes, ADDITIONAL insurance only?
QDoes the team pay extra for the insurance and officials?
ANo, the insurance fee and the officials fee is included in your registration.
QDo all players have to fill out a registration form?
AYes, This is for insurance, a player cannot play without a registration form.
QDo the players get a uniform?
ANo, the players get a shirt only
QDo we need a roster?
AYes, starting this year I am asking for rosters
