About Jim Howell
Jim Howell, President
The Founder and President of the league is Jim Howell, a member of Long Island Lacrosse Hall of Fame (1997), State Representative of the Nassau County Lacrosse Officials Association, Inc. (and lacrosse referee for some 40 years !), Chapter Director of the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation, former President of the Nassau County PAL Youth Lacrosse League, Founder and President of the Greenport Shoot-Out Tournament and, he was also a fair player in his day at Mineola High School.
Howell is generally recognized as one of the greatest promoters of the game of lacrosse on Long Island and throughout the country. His integrity and love of the game is beyond reproach and it guides the operation of his league.
